A MOM, A MISSIONARY AND A MISSIONARY MOM!

A mom, a missionary and a missionary mom!

Even though all our children are married and have families of their own, they at times still need their parents. We love our children, grandchildren and missionaries dearly and we will always be there for them all! 

Sometimes it's hard to figure out how to balance between the two. This past week I was able to more so honor my role as a mom and focus on my family while President continued to focus more on our missionaries. It is especially hard for President at times, as he is not as flexible to be available for our children, but we are all learning and understanding that it's ok. Our children know how much we love them and we are so grateful for their sacrifices also.

I am grateful that our leaders tell us that family is our first and most sacred responsibility and because of this I was given permission to go home for a few days to help my family. While home we had a beautiful granddaughter born, Scottie Renae (I am so honored that she and I share the same middle name) and our grandson Luke was baptized. These were very sacred events for which I was grateful to be apart of and very grateful that President could be apart of through zoom.

We love our family, we love our missionaries, we love this work and we love the Lord. With the Lord at our side we can accomplish anything!
