MISSION TOUR, FAMILY AND ROOT CANAL

What an honor and privilege it was to have Elder and Sister Douglas, the 2nd counselor in our Area Presidency, visit our mission last week. They are wonderful examples and witnesses of Christ and we were so blessed to have had them teach and inspire us. Now to move forward and become better disciples of Christ. Our missionaries are amazing and continue to work hard and be diligent in doing the Lord's work. We love them and are so blessed to be serving with them.

A few days after our week long mission tour we had family come visit!! Yeah! This is one happy momma/grandma!! Derek, McKenna and Shiloh are here for a few days and they get to participate in our missionary happenings. They joined us for our Mission wide Zoom call and Derek gave our missionaries some great council.  I love when our family is with us and can see all of our amazing missionaries and know and feel for themselves the joy this work brings!  I love my family and miss them terribly but so incredibly grateful for the sacrifice and support they give us! I know the Lord is watching over us and blessing us all.

And finally...YES I had a root canal! About 2 years ago I had some problems with my tooth, but through exams and x-rays they could never find anything wrong! The endodontist said that I would most likely end up with a root canal but that it could take 6 months to a year to figure out which tooth it was. Well...2 years later and still no pain but an abscess, so root canal it is! Needless to say I do not like going to the dentist but grateful that its almost finished (I have to go back for the partial crown) and I can move forward.
