RETURNING HOME!

Returning Home!

3 Years! How can I possibly leave my family for 3 years! That was one of the many emotions when we were leaving to come serve in the Mexico Cancun Mission.  WE DID IT! Here it is 3 years later and we are filled once again with many emotions. In 2 weeks we will be reunited with our children and grandchildren and we are so excited. We are excited to see some of our returned missionaries, other family and friends. And yet a part of our heart will always be in the Mexico Cancun Mission, with the remaining missionaries, the leaders and the people whom we have come to love and will dearly miss.

This mission has forever changed us for which we will be eternally grateful. This has been a very rewarding experience, one that was not all roses. Matter of fact it has been (next to my cancer) one of the hardest things I’ve ever loved to do, but again one of the greatest things I’ve ever loved to do and I’d do it all over again.  We truly gave our all and more and will forever be grateful for this opportunity!

Thank you to all of you who have loved and supported us in many different ways. Thank you for watching over our family back home. Thank you for reminding me I was not alone! There were times I felt alone and was missing out on relationships and events, and then I would get a sweet email or text from dear friends or family who reminded me that I was not. Thank you!

We look forward to being reunited with our family and we look forward to what lies ahead.
