SET APART!

 

At 10:00am this morning and on our 38^th anniversary, we were blessed to meet with a special witness of Jesus Christ. President M Russell Ballard and Elder Godoy (of the Presidency of the Seventy) spent about 40 minutes with us, counseling and offering advice and support. Then on behalf of President Russell M. Nelson, President Ballard set Paul apart and bestowed priesthood keys and the power and authority necessary to preside over the Mexico Cancun Mission. Elder Godoy then set me apart as a full-time missionary. 

It was especially meaningful to have all of our children join us for this sacred moment in time for our family. The next three years will have an impact on each member of our family, and President Ballard was very mindful of that.  After the blessing we were allowed to stay in the room and we all shared what we remembered from the blessings. We are full speed ahead now and It was a beautiful and spiritual morning!
