MULTI ZONE CONFERENCES!

 July 19 & 20, 2022

We had our first of many multi zone conferences and loved every minute of it!  

We talked about the importance of finding. President Anderson used Elder Gong's analogy of having multiple lines in the water. 

Elder gong taught As “Preach My Gospel” teaches, nothing happens in missionary work until missionaries find somebody to teach.

“Very successful missionaries everywhere use four key principles to find by the Spirit ‘at all times and in all places’.”

Principle 1: Each missionary keeps multiple lines in the water.

“Varied lines in different places find more effectively than one line in one place,” 

“Lines in the water are more effective than lines dangling above the water.”

Principle 2: Balance your finding mix.

Multiple lines in the water” does not mean more missionaries in the same place. “Multiple lines” means different ways, sources, even locations and times of day. Each companionship is finding the Lord’s elect all the time. 

Principle 3: Mission Finding Summary. 

“Your ‘Mission Finding Summary’ shows which mixes of finding methods are working best.

 Principle 4: Adapt to your mission and missionaries. 

A good mix of “finding practices” increases the effectiveness of the missionaries.

“Help missionaries adapt to local circumstances, social and cultural practices, their individual strengths, time of day, even weather,” “Teach missionaries to pray and ask continuously, ‘How do we find the people who are prepared here and now?’ ‘And how can we partner with members to help make that happen?’” 

We also had a few of our Elders and Hermana's take time to teach inspired messages. They too brought power into our meeting.

We are very grateful to everyone who played a part in making these zone conferences so wonderful! We truly felt the Spirit. We love our missionaries and the Lord loves them!
