WHERE DO THE WEEKS GO
Where do the weeks go? It has been another busy few weeks here in the mission and will only get more busy these next few weeks.
I continue to be in awe at what it takes to be mission leaders as we continue to learn more and more each day. How grateful we are for our amazing missionaries who are so patient and loving while we are learning. I'm beginning to think it will always be like this, always learning and growing and making this the best mission ever!!
We had our 2nd incredible transfer and we welcomed 17, yes 17 new missionaries into the best mission ever and we only lost 4!! They came from the Mexico and Provo MTC's with excitement, nervousness and yet ready to meet their trainer, go to their new area and get started in this marvelous work!
President said it best, Hardest day for mission leaders is the best day for parents and the hardest day for parents is the best day for mission leaders!
We also had our 2nd Mission Leader Council meeting at the mission home.
What an incredible group of leaders we have. It was beautiful to hear them share their thoughts and feelings and have inspired discussions on how to grow and become better in the mission and as missionaries.
We are so incredibly grateful for these amazing leaders to help us lead the mission. I love to hear them share their thoughts and feelings
Oh how we love all our missionaries and this work!
Back at home with our amazing children and grandchildren...They have started another school year and continue to keep busy with there extra activities. We are anxiously awaiting the birth of our newest little granddaughter the first of October. We love and miss all of them so much but know we are where we need to be and that the Lord is watching over them.
