ELDER GONG!

We were so very privileged to have Elder Gerrit W. Gong and his sweet wife come to our mission. We were also privileged to have Elder Jose A. Teixeira & Sister Teixeira (Serving as a General Authority Seventy in the Presidency of the Seventy) along with Our Area Presidency, Elder & Sister Montoya, Elder Ochoa and Elder & Sister Douglas. (We do not have the official photo back so when we get it I will post)

Elder Gong was so sweet and shared a tender message to our missionaries. He talked about the importance of having multiple lines in the water. Using multiple methods to find people and bring them to Christ.  He talked to them about the importance of loving and taking care of your companions. He shared a sweet experience of Elder Cook and Elder Holland (who were missionary companions) how 50 years later they are still taking care of each other.

We were spiritually fed and did not want the evening to end.

This day was also a highlight for President and I, as this was the first time since we have been here that our whole mission was together, all 102 of us!!
