THE MIGHTY TRANSFER WEEK!!

They made it! We are so happy to have our missionaries arrive! Welcome to the best mission, the Mexico Cancun Mission! We love you and look forward to serving with you!

We welcomed 13 wonderful missionaries at two different times during the day and will welcome 1 more next week. Unfortunately we now have two who have been reassigned while they wait for their visas, and will try to be patient as we wait for them. We have loved these beautiful Elders and Hermanas since we first heard they were coming to our mission. Its wonderful to finally be able to give them a big hug, introduce them to their trainer and send them to their first area! I love watching them meet their trainer and seeing the excitement and love on their faces.

While this is all wonderful it is also a sad day as we say goodbye to those who are returning home. This transfer we had 7 absolutely amazing missionaries leave us and Oh how we will miss them! After our farewell dinner (for with those who were returning home) we ended the evening with dessert and visiting back at the Mission Home.  What a delight it was to spend time with each of these amazing young people. We love them and hope each one will stay in contact with us and even come back to visit.

We are so grateful for the opportunity we have to serve the Lord in this capacity. While its hard, challenging and each day is so different we wouldn't want to be anywhere else! We love and miss our family back home and look forward to their visits, 26 days for some, not that I'm counting 😜. We are grateful for their doing hard things also and we all know the Lord is watching over and blessing us each day.
