ANOTHER FEW WEEKS OF MISSION LIFE!

La vida en la misión. (Life in the mission)

This past week was a great week of Multi Zone Conferences.  We love multi zone conference week as we get to be with all our missionaries over a few days. We love being able to hug them and just plain feel of their goodness.  They are so full of love and we love watching them cheer each other on. Day 1 started in Cancun with our Kabah, Cancun and Hacienda zones, Day 2 was with our Playa, Cozumel, Valladollid and Tizimin zones and we ended on Day 3 with our Chetumal and Ramas zones. Our theme for this conference was "Keep your head in the Fight". (thus the pictures of Presidente and I in our outfits 😂) We had trainings by President and I and some amazing missionaries and we were spiritually fed.

Along with multi zone conferences we have had a few zone activities. We had the Kabah zone at the mission home for a few hours of fun. We ate, played mini golf and enjoyed being together.  The Kabah, Hacienda and Cancun zones also had a p-day with some service and then enjoyed a little soccer.  We love when we can gather with each  zone individually for one on one time.

We have also had a few Stake Conferences and a Branch Conference. This past Sunday as I was sitting in a stake conference looking out at all the beautiful saints here in Mexico I got a little teary eyed thinking of the time when we will be returning home (I know I still have 1 year and 9 months left, but who's counting!😜) and how much I will miss these people. They are so kind, loving, humble and dedicated saints! I have come to love their greeting ~ which is a hug with a kiss on the cheek.  So friends back home, that's how I will greet you when I return! 😏 And yes I give my talks in Spanish! Help! I truly hope and pray the saints can understand me. I am constantly crying over learning this language. For some reason (other than maybe its because my missionaries need to learn English) I am really struggling with the language, but I am truly trying. A few months ago in as I got up to give my talk there was this sweet older lady on the 3rd row who just started smiling at me and smiled the whole way through my talk. She truly was a blessing and it gave me the strength and confidence I needed to continue giving my talks in Spanish. La vida en la misión. (Life in the mission)

We love and miss our family back home and are so grateful they are doing well. I have had a hard time these past few weeks of being extremely homesick and I am so very grateful for Facetime I wouldn't survive without it!! As busy as we are with our missionaries it does get lonely not being around family. I'm grateful they have each other and get together! And thank you to my dear family and friends who take the time to reach out with a phone call, email or text. It means so much!

We love our family, we love all of you, we love this work, we love our missionaries and we love the Lord!
