Oh my heart!!! Each day I am amazed at the wonderful young missionaries we have in our mission and today is no exception!
We have been asked to have our native speaking missionaries learn English and so we have been encouraging them to use language study time each day to learn and to practice in District meeting and Zone Conferences. Today at the end of our Multi Zone Conference a native missionary was asked to say the closing prayer and he asked if he could say it in English!!! Oh my heart! He said an amazing prayer in English! I love how these missionaries are so eager and willing to learn!
We also have had our MLC (Mission Leadership Council) learning a song to sing at our multi zone conferences and today was our first multi zone conference of 3 meetings. They sang the song in English and it truly melted my heart.
Time, as always, is flying by and we have had many things happen in our mission. Transfers, MLC, interviews, multi zone conferences, stake conferences, out working with our missionaries, zoom calls, medical, and I can't forget our Mission Leaders Seminar. People ask what we do everyday as mission leaders and oh boy where do I start! Everyday is a different day and we are always busy! There are many nights when its 10:30 or so and we are still in our offices working and pday??? What is pday for President and I? Honestly we have been on our mission for almost 18 months and have had maybe 5 pdays! We promised ourselves we would be better at taking pday's so we will see. 😜
Our family at home is doing great! We had our 13th grandchild a few months ago and this grandma is dying to hold this little one in my arms!! I have been soooo homesick lately but I know I'm where I am supposed to be.
