Meetings, meetings and more meetings...Multi Zone Conferences, Mission Leadership Council and more!
What a packed few weeks this has been! We've once again had the opportunity to gather with our missionaries for Multi Zone Conferences, Mission Leadership Council, Interviews, Baptisms and more! What a joy it is when we can gather together, council together and learn from each other. We are truly lifted and filled with joy when we are with our missionaries.
This schedule that we keep is truly a testament to how the Lord sustains His mission leaders to do all that is needed. I'm amazed at times how we are given the capacity to do it all, to be where we need to be, to do what we need to do and say what we need to say to help these missionaries grow and progress. The Lord truly loves and sustains us at all times!
We’ve had a lot going on with our kids lately and sometimes its so hard to be away and miss things with them, but we are so grateful for this opportunity we have to be here serving the Lord and serving with our missionaries! Karen had the opportunity to return home for a short time as she had her Cancer check ups, and was so grateful that Derek and his family came to Utah and she was able to spend the time with all our children and grandchildren. Paul held down the mission while she was away and did a great job!! While at home she had the chance to attend a few baseball games and it was so fun to see her grandkids shine! Ashley, Tyler and their boys are sooooo busy with soccer and baseball. Gavin and Beau won the championship tournament in California and Luke's baseball team took 2nd in the Baseball tournament. Steven, Suany and their kids are enjoying their first summer of Steven not being involved with football. Derek, McKenna and their little family are busy finishing their yard and projects in their new home. Brooke, Jory and their little family are keeping busy with all of Rhetts and Bakers sports. Our sweet little angel Scottie Renae had tubes put in her ears and it was a blessing that Karen was there to help support the family (she was there for her cancer check ups) Kirsten, Ben and their little family are busy with work and dance and just enjoying the summer! We love our family and we have truly seen the hand of the Lord in blessing them while we are away and we are just so grateful.
